Everyone Knows Someone Older

January 15, 2019 by Dan Gellert

Age is gray when youth look up.
The aged, like rotting diamonds,
shine again
during storytelling time
with one listener,
or many,
to families, then crowds,
religions, ethnicities,
to countries, then lands,
to the entire earth.
If we listen
the aged gray
tell a way
